November 16, 2013: The Nanooptics Group participates in the science exhibition Achtung Forschung with a display on lasers, LEDs and nanostructures.

August 23, 2013: Quantum plasmonics: an exciting emerging field that was discussed in an OSA incubator meeting in Washington, organised by Garnett Bryant (NIST), Edo Waks (Maryland) and Joachim Krenn.

June 21, 2013: The Nanooptics running team competed in this year's relay-by-four Kleeblattlauf and finished after quite hilly and hot 10.4 km in 52:55.

March 26, 2013: Physics Day: large attendance, experiments and lots of fun.

March 20-22, 2013: The Nanooptics Group set out to Mauterndorf for science and skiing at the Nano and Photonics workshop.
